SERIAL WRITER is a desktop interactive movie developed in a Digital Interactive Movie Making Workshop organised by SAGAS and held by Chris Hales. THE STORY is about a woman who can't write. She is at the window observing people crossing the street. They stimulate contradictory thoughts that will lead her to different actions. THE USER will determine, by choosing her thoughts, whether she will become a serial killer or she will be able to write again, taking the story to one of the two distinct ends RANDOM is an important feature in this movie. All the scenes in the middle appear randomized, allowing a different experience everytime it is played. Originally created with Macromedia Director using QuickTime video, Serial Writer was entirely converted to Flash.
